The Arizona Quarter Horse Racing Association will once again be holding their annual Stallion Service Auction online in order to reach the greatest number of buyers across the country. We would like to extend a special thank you to all the stallion owners, managers and farms who continue to donate breeding’s and support the AQRA. All 2026 foals by stallions sold or repurchased will be eligible for the 2029 Desert Classic Futurity, and subsequent Derby to be run in Arizona. AQRA guarantees that a minimum of 50% of the stallion auction proceeds will be added to the Desert Classic Stakes Program. The remaining proceeds will be used to support AQRA programs including scholarships, purse enhancement and promotional efforts to increase quarter horse racing opportunities.
